Alex Ghodsi
- Chairman of the BoardMr. Ghodsi co-founded and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of “Rigid Global Buildings”. In January 2011 Rigid went global when it merged with Jinhuan Steel Structures. This transition into the global market brought the financial stability that Alex was looking for as well as a means to reach a larger international audience.
The international market is not unknown to Alireza. In his capacity as Executive Vice President and Owner he has spent over twenty years developing, selling and managing international offices and projects. He set up offices in Philippines and Seoul Korea in the mid 1990’s. Recently, Alireza was privileged in December 2010 to be among the select few Iranian American Businessmen to travel with Paul Brinkley, Deputy Secretary of Defense to Robert Gates, to Afghanistan and Basra, Iraq to discuss how the private sector can help in the rebuilding of these two countries. He was honored to meet and speak with General David Patraeus, the commander of the US and NATO forces in Afghanistan.
Alireza has been married to his wife Joanna for 37 years and has two children. A daughter who is a practicing OB/GYN and a son who is a culinary student.
