Rigid Global Buildings Honors Employees for Safety Contest

Rigid Global Buildings, a leading manufacturer in the steel building industry, recently held their annual safety poster contest.  This contest consists of three categories; Employee, Spouse of an Employee, and kids of an employee.

The winning posters are displayed in the main office, and manufacturing areas.  For the second year in a row Afshin Saleh took the top honors in the Employee category.  Afshin’s oil painting of welding safety is an amazing showcase of not only the importance of safety but the amazing talent he has as a gifted painter.  Afshin works in the maintenance department for Rigid Global Buildings.

The contest was designed to help promote safety awareness throughout the company.  Ron Obey, Safety Director for Rigid Global Buildings understands the importance of safety in a manufacturing environment.  Through the Safety Department, Rigid offers safety training not only for the manufacturing department buy companywide.  Every employee at Rigid is required to take a safety course as a part of their new employee orientation.  Ron goes above and beyond with informational emails on safety, health, hydration and any other topics that would benefit the employees.

Rigid Global Buildings is a manufacturer of pre-engineered steel buildings and structural steel.  For more information on Rigid Global Buildings or to speak with a sales representative please contact Rigid at 1-888-GO-RIGID (467-4443) or visit their website at www.RigidBuilding.com

  1. Congrats on the award. That is an AWESOME painting, with obviously a lot of time and talent involved.
Are you going to make copies into posters for customers?
If so, I would like to request how to obtain one for decorating at our company. We are a metal fabrication shop, and that would be a fantastic addition for the office.

  2. Thank you for your comment, at this time we have not planned on duplicating the poster. It was done with oil/paint on a canvas and would be difficult to duplicate. Should our plans change I will definitely let you know.
