About Rigid Global Buildings

Founded in Houston, Texas – Rigid Global Buildings has become one of the largest privately held manufacturers of Pre-Engineered metal buildings in the industry today. Backed by the strength of our engineering team – we pride ourselves on being able to design / fabricate structures of all shapes and sizes for all industries. Our in house engineering team has over 100 degreed engineers providing the best integrated design, BIM, engineering and detailing.

In the beginning, our niche was the complex buildings that the other metal building manufacturers did not want to design / fabricate. Churches, stadiums, larger more detailed metal buildings became our specialty. That quickly grew into the agricultural market and commercial sector, designing and fabricating buildings for riding arenas, strip center and retail stand-alone buildings. As Rigid’s customer base began to grow so did our product offering. We now offer metal buildings for all industries including commercial, government, schools, self-storage, religious, aviation, and grow houses.

In 2016, Rigid opened a 125,000 square foot structural fabrication facility. This new AISC / IAS certified fabrication facility includes several heavy duty cranes, a plasma cutter, 2 Ficep drill lines, and a robotic flange processing center helping Rigid tackle even larger projects such as convention centers, hotels, casinos, sports arenas, office buildings and stadiums. As the times change and building processes change, Rigid will continue to stay on top of technology and offer the best quality products for the building industry.
