Rigid Global Buildings is an AISC-certified, IAS-AC472 accredited manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building kits serving agricultural, aviation, commercial, industrial, institutional, religious, and self storage operations across all 50 states. Every kit is designed by in-house engineers at our Houston, Texas manufacturing facility and fabricated to project-specific dimensions before shipping as a complete structural package to the job site.
Local building code and load requirements for your county and state are built into the engineering before the kit ships — no surprises at permitting or inspection. With over 30 years of manufacturing experience and a 350,000 square foot production facility, Rigid Global Buildings delivers pre-engineered metal building kits engineered to perform for decades.

What Is a Pre-Engineered Metal Building Kit?
A pre-engineered metal building kit is a complete structural package — engineered steel frames, roof and wall panels, trim, doors, and accessories — factory-fabricated to your project dimensions and shipped to your job site ready for erection. Unlike conventional construction where components are designed and fabricated in the field, pre-engineered kits are engineered as a complete system before a single piece of steel is cut.
Every Rigid Global Buildings kit is designed by in-house engineers and fabricated under AISC certification at our manufacturing facility. Local wind, snow, seismic, and live load requirements for your specific county and state are built into the engineering before the kit ships — so there are no surprises at permitting or inspection.
Pre-engineered steel buildings outperform wood-frame and conventional construction in fire resistance, durability, and long-term maintenance costs — making them the preferred structural system for agricultural, commercial, industrial, and institutional applications across all 50 states.

Why Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings
Pre-engineered steel outperforms wood-frame and conventional construction across every metric that matters for long-term building ownership.
Clear-span interiors up to 300 feet
Rigid frame systems eliminate interior columns across widths that would require multiple supports in conventional construction — maximizing usable floor space for any application.
AISC-certified fabrication
Every structural component is fabricated under AISC Structural Steel Certification and IAS-AC472 Accreditation — the industry standards for quality control in structural steel manufacturing.
Long-term structural performance
Steel doesn't rot, warp, shrink, or attract insects. Pre-engineered steel buildings commonly perform for 30 to 50 years or more with minimal structural maintenance — significantly lower lifecycle costs than wood-frame alternatives.
Site-specific engineering
Every kit is engineered to meet the wind, snow, seismic, and live load requirements of your specific project location — before fabrication begins. No surprises at permitting or inspection.
Expandability
Pre-engineered steel buildings are designed for future expansion from day one. Planning end-wall framing at the outset means adding square footage later doesn't require a structural redesign.
Permit-ready documentation
Anchor bolt plans, structural drawings, and load calculations ship with every kit — everything your engineer of record and building department need for permitting and inspection.
